As shared previously, our hosting platform upgrade is well underway — many accounts have already been moved onto the new environment, with the remaining phases completing this month.

This initiative forms part of our continued investment in building a faster, more secure, and more resilient hosting platform while ensuring we continue delivering long-term value to our customers.

Our hosting services have long been powered by the cPanel control panel. However, over the last several years, cPanel has adopted a licensing model that has seen recurring annual price increases. This has continually placed pressure on hosting providers to pass those costs on to customers year after year - a business model that we do not believe best serves our clients.

At HostPinnacle, we believe hosting should be built on predictable and sustainable pricing, allowing us to continue investing where it matters most: modern infrastructure, enhanced security, improved performance, and exceptional customer support, rather than continually absorbing or passing on increasing software licensing costs.

As part of this long-term strategy, customer hosting accounts are being transitioned to our next-generation hosting platform powered by DirectAdmin. DirectAdmin has a significantly lighter system footprint than our previous panel, meaning more server resources are dedicated to your websites and applications rather than system overhead. It also offers a clean, modern management interface. This transition is complemented by broader infrastructure enhancements — including upgraded hardware, advanced security hardening, and performance-optimized web servers — designed to improve speed, reliability, and long-term scalability, while keeping our services affordably priced.

While the control panel itself is changing, everything powering your websites stays the same. LiteSpeed Web Server, PHP, MariaDB/MySQL, Python and Node.js environments, email, DNS, and SSL certificates all continue to run exactly as they do today — ensuring a stable, familiar environment without interruption to your live websites during the upgrade.

Our engineering team continues to perform migrations carefully on a server-by-server basis to minimize disruption. Most customers experience little to no interruption during the migration, and we continue to monitor each migration closely to ensure a smooth transition.
