How to Create a Subdomain in cPanel
A subdomain is a subsection of your website that can exist as a new website without a new domain name.
1. Login to cPanel to accomplish this task.
2. Navigate to “Domains” section of the cPanel and click on “Subdomains“.
3. Enter the subdomain, and the document root will be filled automatically. If not just give it any name. The document root is where the files of the subdomain’s website/application will reside. In case you have more than one domain select the one you want to have the subdomain on. Check to see that you have the three fields filled in correctly. Finally, click on the “Create” button to save the configuration.
You can always come back to this page to modify your subdomains.
