We are currently experiencing an issue affecting outgoing email delivery for hosted accounts due to a temporary hitch within our email smarthost system.

As a result, emails sent from your domains may be delayed or fail to send. Incoming emails are not affected and continue to be received normally.

Our engineering team is actively investigating and working to restore full outbound email functionality as quickly as possible. Any queued messages will be processed once the issue is resolved.

We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as they become available. If you require urgent assistance, please contact our support team.

Update: 30/03/2026 1139hrs: Our engineers have identified the underlying issue, and we are currently addressing it. There is a bit of a queue on previously sent emails that we are currently processing and should have cleared in 15 to 20 minutes. New emails will not face any delays and will flow as expected.

Update: 30/03/2026 1335hrs: Issue fully resolved.

Update: 17/03/2026 1339hrs: The underlying outage issue has been identified. A backlog of queued emails is currently being processed and is catching up. All delayed emails are expected to be delivered within the next 15–20 minutes. New outgoing emails should not experience similar delays. Our team is actively working to resolve the underlying issue.

 

Update: 17/03/2026 1415hrs: The underlying issue has been fully resolved and all queued emails processed. This matter is now closed but should you need further assistance, kindly raise a support ticket with our technical department.

This message is to inform you that we are aware of a service issue currently affecting some .KE domain names.
 
The root cause has been identified as a propagation issue at the registry level for the .KE zone. Our registry partner, KENIC, has confirmed they are investigating and working to resolve the problem.
 
Impact: Some .KE domains may currently be unavailable, leading to website downtime and email delivery issues.
 
This is not an issue with your hosting service or our infrastructure, but a wider ecosystem event. We are monitoring the situation closely and are in direct communication with KENIC.
 
We understand the critical impact this has on your operations and assure you that resolving this is our highest priority. We will provide another update as soon as we have more information from KENIC.

We are grateful for the continued patronage you have accorded us at HostPinnacle Kenya. We continually seek to improve our services to ensure that our clients receive world-class hosting experience. For this to happen, we continually monitor our servers to ensure we proactively respond to emerging issues and schedule maintenance accordingly.

This is to inform you of one such maintenance we have decided to schedule urgently for one of our servers: SERVER1.NOC254.COM, today(13/10/20) at 9:00PM EAT. The maintenance has been scheduled urgently to ensure the server doesn't fail during normal working hours.
